Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how SamplePal (“SamplePal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit samplepal.net (the “Site”) or interact with us by email. It does not cover use of the SamplePal application itself, which is governed by a separate agreement.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you request a demo, sign up for updates, or email us, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, company, and any message you send.
• Usage data. We log standard web analytics about how visitors use the Site, including pages viewed, time on page, referrer, approximate location (city/region), device type, and browser.
• Visitor identification. We use a third-party service (RB2B) that may identify individual business visitors to the Site by name, employer, and professional profile based on data their partners have collected. See “Third-party services” below for details and opt-out instructions.
• Cookies and similar technologies. The Site and our analytics/marketing partners use cookies and similar technologies to recognize returning visitors and measure engagement.

How we use information

• To respond to demo requests and other inquiries.
• To send you product updates and marketing emails if you have asked to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• To understand how visitors use the Site and improve our marketing and product.
• To follow up with prospective customers who appear to be a good fit for SamplePal.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Site and our marketing. Each service has its own privacy practices.

RB2B (visitor identification)

When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout.

Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure Site usage. Google may set cookies and collect information described in Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Constant Contact & Mailchimp (email)

We use Constant Contact and Mailchimp to send marketing email and manage subscriber lists. They process your email address and engagement data (opens, clicks) on our behalf.

SavvyCal (scheduling)

We use SavvyCal to let visitors book demo calls. Information you enter while booking is processed by SavvyCal.

Cloudinary (image hosting)

Some images on the Site are served by Cloudinary. Standard web request data (IP, user agent) is processed by Cloudinary in the course of delivering those images.

Your choices

• Marketing email. Unsubscribe using the link in any email or contact us at the address below.
• Visitor identification. Opt out at https://app.retention.com/optout.
• Analytics. Use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on linked above, or block analytics cookies in your browser.
• Access, correction, deletion. If you would like to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, email us at the address below.

Children

The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
